Itinerary on foot through the city to find the traces and places where the Supreme Poet used to live.
On the occasion of the 700th anniversary of Dante Alighieri’s death, Firenze Alchemica offers some unpublished itineraries to celebrate the great Florentine poet. The visit is a walking itinerary through the city to find the traces and places where the Supreme Poet used to live.
Dante Alighieri, who was a great initiate affiliated with the brotherhood of the Fedeli d’Amore, but probably also a Templar, mentions a number of places and characters of his Florence in his great poem. Through the lens of symbolism we will discover not only the traces of a glorious past now lost, but also the secret thoughts of Dante.
The city was in fact the privileged background of his spiritual ascent, as clearly indicated by the places where Dante meets Beatrice: their mysteries, hidden among the verses of the Divine Comedy, are linked to the red thread of the Wisdom Tradition.
