Monumental complex of the Duomo – Symbols and secret geometries

In this itinerary we explore the alchemical symbologies present in the magnificent monumental complex of Florence Cathedral and Baptistery. We will first enter the Baptistery and then the Duomo where we will make a true initiatory experiential journey. We will then descend into the ancient crypt to rediscover the first early Christian church of Santa Reparata, to then ascend to the interior of the cathedral where our itinerary will lead us to discover secret symbols and will lead us in front of the altar where we will look up and find ourselves under Vasari’s magnificent and emblematic Last Judgement.

Outside the complex, we will find the same alchemic correspondences in the buildings outside, from the colours to the sacred numbers to the images evocative of mystical meanings that will eventually be highlighted in the interpretation of the bands of Giotto’s Bell Tower.
