On Monte Acuto, not far from Florence, in a gentle landscape between cypresses and olive trees, stands the Certosa, the silent keeper of ancient symbolisms.

The Charterhouse of Florence and Alchemy

Built in 1342 at the request of Niccolò Acciaiuoli, a member of one of the richest Florentine families, the Certosa is a witness to many centuries of history, spirituality and art.

In our visit we will rediscover its architecture together, as well as the sculptures and decorations within: using a secret and well hidden language, artists have been able to transform the Certosa into a sacred area where history, alchemy and art are able to merge into a single, intimate, hermetic message.
