The Hermetic Doctrine has seen in the “cave” the forge and the laboratory where secret alchemical operations can be carried out, and has veiled those experiences behind archaic-mythological figures, paintings or allegorical representations related to the “art” of metals and precious stones. For the Hermetic Philosophers, entering a cave is the equivalent of experiencing a journey inside one’s soul, discovering its most hidden ravines, facing the most difficult struggles and then arriving at its true wealth: the “divine sealed inside us”.

The tour will be conducted on an exceptional basis by Costanza Riva of Firenze Alchemica’s research team.
